Here’s the next in our series of profiles about some of our key Authorised Solution Centres and distribution partners. This time we focus on our partner TACO Technologies and their Partner Success Manager, Daniel Hughes.
Q1. Can you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself?
I’m Daniel Hughes, and I’ve been with Taco Technologies for almost 9 years now. I am married with two son’s (18 and 16), a 9 week old cocker spaniel named Charlie, and I’m based in Brisbane. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, camping, baseball and golf.
Q2. Tell us about your company and your role.
Taco Technologies is a company that specializes in technology solutions that are focused on simplifying workflows, automating business processes, and improving visibility across our customers businesses. This includes print enablement, work management and custom integrations. As a Partner Success Manager, I play a key role in driving partner success by promoting our solutions through engaging product demonstrations, and equipping partners with the knowledge and collateral they need to grow their business.
Q3. Which Intuitive Dashboard solution(s)do you sell and why did your company choose them?
Being Intuitive’s sole Partner in Australia and New Zealand, we are lucky enough to be able to offer dashboard solutions for PaperCut, YSoft and Docuware. This allows our Channel access to whichever the right dashboard is for their customers. A large number of our Partners offer both PaperCut and YSoft solutions, so being able to provide dashboard solutions for both makes it a smoother onboarding and learning process, allowing them to get out in the field securing deals faster.
Q4. What have been the main challenges for your company in 2025 so far? And do you anticipate any new challenges going forwards into next year?
In 2025, the market has shifted with a decline in the number of print devices sold, which has naturally influenced the volume of traditional print management solutions. While this presents a challenge, it has also opened up exciting opportunities for our Partners to broaden their portfolios. Many are now engaging with customers around solutions that deliver greater efficiency and cost savings, particularly through process automation and workflow optimisation. Looking ahead to 2026, we see this as a chance to evolve alongside our Partners, supporting them in expanding into adjacent technologies and building stronger, more future-ready solutions that align with their customers’ changing needs.
Q5. What do you see in the future for the partnership between your company and Intuitive?
I’m excited to say that the partnership between Taco and Intuitive will continue to grow as more of our Partners adopt the solution for their customers. With an Australian based Intuitive cloud instance coming soon, this will open the door up to even more customers across ANZ.
